IBQMI® has operated continuously since 2015.

The year 2015 identifies the beginning of IBQMI’s institutional operation and establishes continuity across the development of professional frameworks and standards, the administration of assessments, the issuance of professional credentials and the growth of its international student community.

The institution operating under this continuous identity is International Business and Quality Management Institute LLC, publicly operating as IBQMI®.

What the year 2015 identifies

The 2015 date applies to IBQMI as an institution. It identifies the beginning of the continuing institutional structure through which IBQMI develops professional systems and issues credentials.

It does not assert that every current framework, standard, credential, course version or digital platform existed in its present form in 2015.

Professional frameworks and credential systems can develop over time. The continuity lies in the institution responsible for defining, maintaining, assessing, issuing and verifying the professional system.

Continuity does not mean immutability

Continuous institutional operation does not require professional frameworks, bodies of knowledge, assessments or delivery systems to remain technically unchanged.

Enterprise environments, professional practices and technological conditions evolve. An institution responsible for professional standards must therefore be able to maintain, revise and extend its systems while preserving institutional accountability for them.

IBQMI’s professional standards and frameworks may develop in response to changing organizational conditions. The institution responsible for those systems remains IBQMI.

Development of the professional portfolio

The IBQMI portfolio has developed across professional fields that include enterprise architecture, artificial intelligence, DevOps management, lean project execution, Kanban, Scrumban and Total Quality Management.

Individual credentials and standards may have different introduction dates, revision histories and development paths. Their inclusion in the current portfolio does not mean that each existed in its present form at the beginning of the institution’s operation.
