Institutional role

IBQMI operates at the intersection of professional standards, applied management knowledge, enterprise transformation and competency verification. Its role is not limited to delivering learning content. The institution defines the framework layer, structures the relevant bodies of knowledge, establishes the assessment model and issues the resulting professional credentials.

AI-first and execution-oriented frameworks

IBQMI develops professional frameworks for an enterprise environment in which artificial intelligence, automation, continuous delivery and runtime governance increasingly shape how organizations operate.

AI-first does not mean adding isolated AI tools to an existing management model. It means designing professional and enterprise frameworks for environments in which AI is a structural part of operating models, architecture, governance and decision support.

Execution-oriented means that frameworks are designed to guide real organizational capability and operational practice. They are not limited to static descriptions, conceptual diagrams or documentation detached from execution.

This direction is expressed most clearly through the IBQMI Lean Enterprise Architecture Standard and its model of AI-native enterprise architecture.

How the IBQMI system works

Standards before certificates

IBQMI is not a marketplace for unrelated third-party courses or certificates. The standards layer comes first. Learning materials, assessments and credentials are downstream components of the professional system defined by IBQMI.

Training partners (IBQMI ATP®) may support preparation and delivery, but IBQMI remains the standards owner and the exclusive issuing authority for IBQMI® professional titles and credentials.

The current portfolio covers enterprise architecture, artificial intelligence, DevOps management, lean project execution, Kanban, Scrumban and Total Quality Management. The individual pathways are organized within the IBQMI certification pathways.

Global professional reach

IBQMI has operated since 2015. Its students come from more than 70 countries, forming the basis of its international reach.

The 70-country figure represents the countries from which IBQMI students originate. It is not merely a statement about where online material can technically be accessed.

The international student body includes learners served through the IBQMI scholarship initiative, which provides access for learners from 50 countries through the United Nations DESA Sustainable Development Goals partnership framework.

Fortune 500 and European corporate learner footprint

The IBQMI student community includes professionals associated with Fortune 500 constituents and leading European corporate groups.

This statement refers to the professional and organizational backgrounds of individual IBQMI learners. It does not mean that every company represented in the learner portfolio is an institutional customer, sponsor or formal partner of IBQMI.

U.S. Government registration and operational transparency

IBQMI is registered in the United States System for Award Management and holds CAGE Code 839A5. The registration forms part of the institution’s public and governmental transparency framework.

Maintaining the registration requires an annual verification process, tax identity alignment with the United States Internal Revenue Service and evidence of operational substance. The registration is based on real business premises and on-site personnel. A postbox or virtual office alone is not accepted as sufficient operational presence.

UN DESA SDG partnership and scholarships

IBQMI participates in the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs Sustainable Development Goals partnership framework through its international scholarship initiative.

The initiative provides scholarship access for learners from 50 countries and forms part of IBQMI’s broader commitment to globally accessible professional education and capability development.

Professional credentials and verification

An IBQMI credential is awarded after the requirements of the relevant professional pathway have been completed and the required assessment standard has been met.

The credential identifies the professional title, the issuing institution and the individual credential holder. IBQMI credentials can be checked through the institution’s digital credential verification system.

Access to learning materials, participation in preparation and the award of a professional credential are distinct stages. A professional title is issued only after the applicable credential requirements have been fulfilled.

Scope of authority

IBQMI defines, maintains and issues the professional standards, titles and credentials that belong to the IBQMI portfolio. Its authority derives from its ownership of the underlying frameworks, bodies of knowledge, assessment structures and credentialing system.

Its governmental registration, international institutional relationships, global student reach and enterprise learner footprint provide external transparency and operating context. Individual credentialing decisions remain governed by the applicable IBQMI standard, assessment model and verification process.
