The IBQMI TQM Practitioner credential validates professional capability in Total Quality Management, including organization-wide quality responsibility, process discipline, feedback and continuous improvement.
Capability scope
The credential concerns the application and interpretation of Total Quality Management as an organizational management approach. It does not reduce quality practice to inspection or isolated quality-control techniques.
Relationship to TQM Trainer
The IBQMI TQM Trainer credential extends the professional pathway into Organizational Quality Enablement while also validating Total Quality Management. The Practitioner and Trainer credentials remain distinct.
Credential and organizational implementation
The credential validates individual capability. It does not independently prove that an organization has implemented Total Quality Management or reached a particular quality level.
Institutional context
The credential belongs to the IBQMI® certification model and can be checked through IBQMI® credential verification. The professional system is maintained by IBQMI®.
What the credential does not mean
It is not an organizational quality certification, maturity rating or guarantee of business outcomes.
