The IBQMI AI Solution Architect credential validates professional capability in designing AI-enabled solutions and integrating AI capabilities into enterprise systems, workflows, controls and operating environments. It validates capability across both AI Solution Architecture and Enterprise AI Integration.
Capability scope
The credential concerns the architecture of AI-enabled solutions as operating systems, not only model selection or prompt design. Relevant capability includes solution boundaries, interfaces, dependencies, controls, workflow integration, data access, human review and enterprise operating context.
Relationship to AI-native enterprise architecture
AI-native enterprise architecture provides a wider enterprise context for organizations in which AI is structurally present. The direct connection from the IBQMI® Lean Enterprise Architect® credential to this credential is navigational. The credentials remain distinct and validate different capability scopes.
Credential and organizational implementation
Holding the credential validates individual professional capability. It does not independently establish that an organization has implemented a complete AI architecture, governance system or integration model. Organizational implementation must be demonstrated through actual systems, controls, responsibilities and evidence.
Institutional context
The credential belongs to the IBQMI® certification model and the wider IBQMI® standards and frameworks portfolio. Credential status can be checked through IBQMI® credential verification. The professional system is maintained by IBQMI®.
What the credential does not mean
The credential is not a vendor certification, a guarantee of project outcomes or proof that every AI-enabled system designed by the holder is compliant. It does not make the holder an autonomous organizational decision authority.
